These videos are not intended to replace commercially available products. They are relatively low quality but perfectly watchable on a pc. They are posted so that fans will always be able to access the episodes even if the show is not available on dvd or tv. Seasons 1 and 2 were never released on dvd. Seasons 3 and 4 are currently unavailable. The dvds are far nicer to watch than these files so buy them if you can.
S1-3 files are WMV format, 320x240 or 428x240, 640Kbps VBR, 108Mb and run about 23 minutes. Adverts have been removed; either the pre-ad or post-ad leader has been removed; YTV intermittent logo and show previews could not be removed. Sidebar credits on some S2 episodes have been snipped - the video jumps at that point. Colour tone and audio levels edited to approximately mid-way between tv and dvd video. You may have to adjust brightness of your pc monitor. These videos are much lighter than dvd video. Episodes may have slight differences to airings in the USA (such as the YTV logo). I would appreciate you not downloading the lot at once to keep my daily bandwidth reasonable. Files over 20MB are zipped but you can download or preview a 60 sec episode sample clip (5.8Mb) by clicking here. Important ReadMe for Season 4 Season 4 was issued on DVD as 2x2-hour movies. It originally aired on tv as 8 episodes. Unfortunately I did not record the individual episodes so I do not have the opening titles for each episode. Two different formats are offered, neither of which is exactly per DVD. The video size is 428x240. The audio sync after conversion to wmv format seems to vary. It has been set to give the best average sync over each ep.Individual Episodes The movies have been split into the 4 episodes. The first episode has the original intro. The other three eps have intros that I made, the ReBoot logo with episode name. The files are zipped the same as the first 3 seasons, 117Mb per zip. All eps have the same closing credits. These files are thumbnailed below. Movies The movies are per the DVD except at the points where the episode changes, I've added the short ep title as described in the previous paragraph. Due to the length of the movies, 427Mb, I've posted as a split WinZip file for those with slow connections. You will need ALL 4 parts before you can open the zip and assemble. Just open the file with the .zip extension and all four parts will be re-assembled for extraction. If you do not have an Unzip utility that can do this, try Zip Genius. It's a good idea to check the MD5 value of each file as you download to ensure file complete (correct values at bottom of this page). Also, use a download manager that supports resume (I use Firefox with DownloadThemAll extension). These files are the zip text links below. |
