Wonder Woman first aired as a tv series in 1976, running through 1979. Quite a contrast to current action shows. You have to ask how well today's series will stand up in 20 years. The first season was set in WWII with the Nazis as the baddies. In Season 2, Wonder Woman comes to the present day (1977) with a greater variety of thugs and meglomaniacs.

Wonder Woman needs her belt for her superpowers otherwise she is a normal woman.  If she lassos someone, they have to tell her the truth.  The headband serves as a communicator with her clan on Paradise Island and doubles as a boomerang (wonderang?).
