Searching out a location for the series originally took place in Europe but it was impossible to find anywhere there were no signs of civilization. South Africa was eventually chosen. Even though it is just a couple of hours drive from Cape Town, the Cederberg (Sederberg) is pristine wilderness.
If you have seen the pics I have posted on my main site, you will know that I have commented on the various injuries Stacey Cadman suffered. The worst that was visible in the series was a lump out of her chin. In some of the pics below she points out others. The images on the next pages are from the "Behind the Scenes" featurette. The episode being shot in the later pictures is "Two Tribes". Click thumbnail to see full images, which are about 80Kb each. |
