A stroll on the beach brings Xena and Ulysses together. His ship has been commandeered by pirates under Poseidon's orders. They bump into the god hisself who tells Ulysses his wife Penelope is dead. The trio (not Poseidon, silly) head off to wrest back the ship. Dancing-girl Gab is the bait. The pirates are overcome(!) and sent over the side. Our heroes sail for Ithaca. By tradition they pass the Sirens who tempt Ulyssees with their song. Xena outsings them, saving Ulyssees (Xena recently had a concert at the Roxy - what have the Sirens done lately?).

Back on Ithaca, seasick Gab eats the beach in thanks for dry land. At the palace, the locals are vying for Penelope. All one has to do is string Ulysees' bow. Hooded "U" eventually gets a turn but he can't get it strung. Too much splicing the mainbrace with Xena apparently. Xena sneaks under the table and helps bend the bow. He gets wifey back and our duo head off into the wild blue yonder.
