After winning the "Battle of the Bands" using Sabrina's bottled Talent, the band members have very different ideas on what the band should do next. Sabrina tries to resolve their differences but the arguments threaten their friendship. Sabrina asks Salem what to do and he suggests undoing their talent using flat Talent. Sabrina opens some bottles to let them go flat. Salem has to persuade Sabrina that she needs to drink it too.

The band have a gig performing for the local radio station. Harvey and Valerie arrive expecting all the trappings of rock stars. Sabrina manages to get the pair to drink some flat Talent, just as Dwayne Kraft (who produces the only local band TV show) tells her they could be big. Sabrina has second thoughts but it's too late. Harvey and Valerie are talentless.

They make their sound check and are awful. Sabrina magics Libby (brushing her teeth) to the gym. In a bad day for Spellman pride, Sabrina has to eat crow to persuade Libby to sing for the band while they mime to her group's backing tape. After the perfomance the trio decide to quit the band and return to being friends. Sabrina accidentally leaves a bottle of Talent behind and it's consumed by some boys in the gym, who suddenly have great singing talent, just like the Back Street Boys.

Hilda conjures some classic seasoning to make the steakhouse customers yearn for her Vivaldi but that makes them reject the poor food. With no customers, Hilda is fired; Zelda is strung along and does not get to use Doc's formula. She manages to relieve Dr Terdlington of his trousers as he leaves via the linen closet.
