At last, a series about a wizard, enough witch tales already. No ordinary wizard. Harry Dresden, the only wizard for hire in Chicago. Sci-fi veteran Claudia Black guests in this episode.

While Harry is trying to get his PI licence, the teacher of the class is murdered by supernatural forces. Harry stumbles on the body, just as the class assistant Liz Fontaine comes in. Harry is the obvious suspect but after various encounters he and Liz investigate the case together. They end up in a fertility clinic where Harry has to give a sample, much to Liz's amusement. While snooping around taking photos Harry discovers a woman having special fertility treatment.

Harry and Liz survive a bomb attack at Harry's store. Liz is dumbfounded as Harry surpresses the bomb with his hockey stick. Harry unravels two vital clues and realizes it's all about an incubus, Ronald Jones and his child. Liz puts two and two together from a real estate brochure and heads off on her own. When she arrives at the house, she foils an attempt to kill her but is put under the control of the incubus. When Harry arrives, Liz is directed to kill Harry. He saves himself with magic and zaps the incubus who disappears through a portal.
